Absolutely, many of my team’s clients give us reference music to start with to get the sound and vibe of what they want.
Loudness and quality all depend on the mix. We will listen to your mix before mastering and I will suggest any changes that may need to be made before I master it. We also may need to work with stems to ensure the best result
Yes I do! Stem mastering is a higher cost then mastering a single file.
For a single song mastering can be done within the day, or up to 2 days depending on current scheduling. Full projects of 2 songs or more may take longer depending on the size of the project
Some of my best mixes were done in 1 or 2 days. It really depends on the material I receive and if I get everything delivered the way I need it. Mixing is largely dependent on strong communication with the artist/producer/client.
I generally want files that are consolidated. The process has to be discussed before anything gets sent to me so it’s really important to communicate to ensure I’m getting what I need to set us up for success.
Non-discounted mix projects will be mastered for free.
Most of my clients have only needed 3-4 revisions. I’ve never said “no” to higher numbers of mix revisions. If things become excessive we will address the issue at that time.
